This section describes what happens after an agent has completed their contracting link.
Making agents ready-to-sell
Spark will make sure your agents are contracted and certified with all of the carriers you want them to have. In addition to making contract statuses available in our platform, we regularly remind agents and share contracting walkthroughs.
See below for the types of contracting & ready-to-sell notifications we send to you included:
Event Trigger | Notification |
New contract request | Email with walkthrough instructions. Principal cc’d on this email. |
21 days after contract sent | Pending notice 1 week until contract has expired with specific instructions for the agent. |
30 days after contract sent | Pending notice that the next-day contract will expire. Principal cc’d on this email. |
Weekly at regular time | Digest of all “pending” contracts. If there are no pending contracts where an action by the agent is required, the notification stops. |
Monthly at regular time | Text reminder to review pending contracts and confirm whether to cancel or proceed |
Troubleshooting | Follow-up emails as needed with principal cc’d. |
